These large scale character studies are charcoal drawings on unstretched canvas. The images are based on documentation taken from a 6 hour piece we preformed in our east van studio for a small audience of local artists. We designed and built all of the costumes and artifacts over a two month period preceding the event. Through the raw immediacy of the drawing materials we captured the surreal nature of the performance.
